Guzman Law Group handles contractual issues and dispute resolution relating to amateur and professional athletes. We also have the skills and knowledge to represent universities and professional leagues or clubs with contractual issues relating to the athletes, unions, and third party vendors such as stadiums.

Guzman Law Group also deals with anti-trust issues in the sports context.  For example, an athlete represents that a team’s action is preventing the athlete from playing for a new team, which negatively affects competition in the market place. We can protect our client (whether it’s the athlete, the team/club, or league) by making sure that the decisions made by the client comply within the parameters of anti-trust law. This in turn allows the competitive market to function under normal conditions without  undue influence by a particular entity or person.
